Terms of use

SixStars is a free, unofficial fan companion for Grand Theft Auto VI, available at sixstars.app and as an installable web app. It is not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive — see the disclaimer.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, or the minimum age required in your country if that is higher (for example, the age of digital consent in your EU country). If you're under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms for you. We delete accounts that we find belong to someone under the minimum age.

You can use most of SixStars without an account. If you create one, give accurate information, choose a username that doesn't impersonate anyone, keep your password safe, and tell us at hello@sixstars.app if you suspect unauthorized use. One person, one account: don't share accounts or create extra ones to get around limits, bans or the Stars rules. You're responsible for activity on your account.

Please don't:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights through SixStars;
• post or send us leaked, stolen or pirated material;
• scrape, copy or republish our content in bulk, or use it to train AI models, without permission;
• attack, overload or try to gain unauthorized access to the service, or use bots or scripts to post, like, follow or earn Stars;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with SixStars.

When you post, comment or upload, you also agree to follow our community guidelines, which are part of these terms.

You keep ownership of the posts, comments, images, profile details and task submissions you create on SixStars ("your content").

To run the service, we need your permission to use it. You grant SixStars a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, adapt (for example, resize or format) and distribute your content in connection with the SixStars service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backup copies that roll off within about 30 days, content other users have already shared or quoted, and content we must keep for legal reasons.

You're responsible for what you post. You confirm that you own your content or have all the rights needed to post it and to grant this licence, and that it doesn't break the law, these terms or our community guidelines.

We may review, hide, restrict or remove any content, and limit features for any account, if we believe it breaks these terms or the community guidelines, puts people at risk, or exposes SixStars to legal liability. Content may also be hidden automatically after several reports until a moderator reviews it. We don't monitor everything that is posted, and we don't endorse user content. If you think we got a decision wrong, you can appeal by emailing hello@sixstars.app.

Stars are a free, in-site points feature. You can earn them through things like the daily check-in, the daily spin and tasks reviewed by our team.

• Stars have no monetary value. They are not money, currency, property or a financial product, and they don't belong to you: they are part of your licence to use SixStars.
• Stars can't be bought, sold, transferred to another account or exchanged for cash or anything else of value.
• We may change, reset or discontinue Stars, the daily check-in, the spin and tasks, including their rules, amounts and odds, at any time. Any future rewards will be governed by separate rules published at that time.
• Abuse, such as multiple accounts, bots, scripts or other automation, exploiting bugs or submitting false proof, can lead to Stars being removed or forfeited, submissions being rejected and your account being suspended.
• If your account is deleted or closed, its Stars are lost. We owe no compensation for Stars that are changed, reset, removed or lost.

Text, map data, design and code created by SixStars belong to us or our licensors. You're welcome to link to any page and quote short excerpts with attribution and a link. Anything else needs our permission.

When you send corrections, tips or feedback, you allow us to use them to improve SixStars. You keep any rights you have in them. Your favorites and progress stay yours and can be exported or deleted at any time (see our privacy policy).

Grand Theft Auto, GTA, Rockstar Games and related names, logos and characters are trademarks of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. and are used on SixStars only to identify the game we write about. Embedded videos and linked sites are provided by third parties under their own terms.

Until GTA VI is released, much of what anyone can say about it is incomplete. We label every claim Official, Reported, Rumor or Unconfirmed, but information can change without notice. Don't rely on SixStars for purchasing decisions — check official sources.

SixStars is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

To the extent the law allows, SixStars is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or game progress arising from use of the service. This doesn't limit liability for gross negligence, intent, or anything else that can't be limited by law.

You can stop using SixStars and delete your account at any time from your account page. We may warn you, restrict features (such as posting, commenting, submitting tasks or spinning), suspend your account temporarily or close it permanently if you break these terms or the community guidelines, if the law requires it, or to protect other users or the service. Where reasonable, we'll tell you why and how to appeal. We may also change or discontinue features, with notice where reasonable.

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. For significant changes, we'll notify account holders by email or in the app before they take effect, and continuing to use SixStars after that means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator of SixStars is established, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

These terms are effective from October 6, 2026.
