GTA 6's free GTA+ month: what you get and when to redeem it
Digital GTA 6 pre-orders include a free month of GTA+. It's for GTA Online and the Games Library, not GTA 6. Here's what it includes and how long you have to use it.

One of GTA VI's two pre-order bonuses isn't for GTA VI at all. Digital pre-orders include one free month of GTA+, Rockstar's subscription for the current GTA Online (the GTA V version) and the GTA+ Games Library. Here's what that means and how to get the most from it.
Who qualifies
- Digital pre-orders only. Boxed "code in box" copies don't include it.
- Both Standard and Ultimate digital pre-orders qualify.
What's included
Rockstar lists these GTA+ perks:
- A GTA$500,000 deposit each month in GTA Online.
- Shark Cards with 15% bonus GTA$.
- Free and discounted GTA Online vehicles.
- Access to the GTA+ Games Library of classic games.
When to redeem it
According to the Xbox terms, you must redeem the month within 180 days of pre-ordering. Since the value comes from GTA Online and the Games Library, redeem it in a month when you'll actually play them. If November and December belong to Leonida, you can wait.
Is GTA Online going away?
No announcement says so. Take-Two said in September 2026 that it will keep supporting GTA Online after GTA VI's release. Read the full GTA Online status report.
