GTA 6 cast and voice actors: who's confirmed so far
Who voices Jason and Lucia in GTA 6? Rockstar hasn't credited any actors yet. Here's the one performer who has confirmed his role, the characters we know, and how to spot fake casting.
On this page
Rockstar hasn't officially credited any GTA 6 cast members. The actors behind Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos are not confirmed. So far, only one performer, Stephen Root, has publicly said he's in the game. This guide lists what's confirmed, what's reported, and what's only fan guesswork.
Confirmed credits
This is normal for Rockstar, which usually keeps its cast quiet until release.
Stephen Root (reported)
Stephen Root, known for King of the Hill, told the Associated Press at the BAFTA TV Tea Party in September 2026 that he's in GTA VI. He said "you're going to see me in there", and that people who knew his voice had already recognised his character from Rockstar's trailers.
He didn't name the character. He's widely taken to play Brian Heder, the old-school drug runner who lets Jason live in one of his properties, but that's an inference. Rockstar hasn't commented.
Characters still waiting for a credit
These are the officially named characters. No actor is confirmed for any of them apart from Root's reported role:
| Character | Who they are | Actor |
|---|---|---|
| Jason Duval | Playable lead, ex-Army, works for smugglers in the Keys | Not confirmed |
| Lucia Caminos | Playable lead, fresh out of Leonida Penitentiary | Not confirmed |
| Cal Hampton | Jason's conspiracy-minded friend | Not confirmed |
| Boobie Ike | Vice City street legend turned businessman | Not confirmed |
| Dre'Quan Priest | Boobie's partner at Only Raw Records | Not confirmed |
| Real Dimez | Rap duo Bae-Luxe and Roxy | Not confirmed |
| Raul Bautista | Seasoned bank robber | Not confirmed |
| Brian Heder | Jason's landlord and boss | Stephen Root (reported, not credited) |

Fake casting to ignore
A good rule: if the actor hasn't said it on the record and Rockstar hasn't credited them, treat it as not confirmed.
When we'll know more
Rockstar hasn't said when it will reveal the cast. The in-game credits will settle it from November 19, 2026, and we'll update this page and the wiki as soon as names are confirmed.
