Sony reveals two GTA 6 Limited Edition DualSense controllers

GTA VI's first hardware tie-in is here. During its State of Play on September 3, 2026, Sony revealed two Grand Theft Auto VI Limited Edition DualSense wireless controllers, one black and one white. Both launch alongside the game on November 19, 2026.

Two looks: sunset and daybreak#

The Black Limited Edition has a colour-shifting finish inspired by Vice City's sunsets and neon, a moulded palm-tree texture and a large "VI" on the touchpad.

The White Limited Edition carries the same features in a lighter theme that Sony calls "Vice City daybreak".

Sony's announcement also puts the spotlight on the game's support for DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

Price#

When and where to buy#

• Pre-orders: opened September 10, 2026 at 10:00 local time.
• Launch: November 19, 2026.
• Black edition: exclusive to direct.playstation.com in regions where PlayStation Direct operates, and sold through select retailers elsewhere.
• White edition: limited, sold at PlayStation Direct and participating retailers.

Any console bundles?#

Not so far. No PS5 console bundle has been announced for GTA VI, and no Xbox hardware tie-in has been announced either. We'll update this story if that changes.

Part of a bigger partnership#

The controllers are the latest piece of PlayStation's marketing deal for the game. Rockstar's official site carries a "Plays best on PlayStation 5" badge, and the PlayStation Store lists GTA VI as PS5 Pro Enhanced, although Rockstar hasn't yet said what that means in practice.
