GTA 6 covers LOVE magazine with new Jason and Lucia images and a Rockstar story interview

Grand Theft Auto VI is on the cover of LOVE magazine issue 27, which went on sale on October 5, 2026. The British fashion and culture title carries new official images of Jason and Lucia and an interview with Rockstar's narrative team. The €25 collector's edition reportedly sold out within minutes of pre-orders opening.

New images of Jason and Lucia#

According to outlets that have seen the pages, the new images show the pair in a diner, around a pool table and driving together, plus new looks at Vice City. They add to the screenshots Rockstar has released since Trailer 2.

What Rockstar's writers said#

Coverage quotes two members of Rockstar's narrative team:

• Rupert Humphries, reported as Rockstar's senior vice president of narrative, describes a present-day version of the American Dream. It's built on modest goals such as a home, looking after family and paying off debt, rather than huge wealth. He calls the world a "pressure cooker".
• A Rockstar writer says the team wanted the leads to be "vulnerable, tough, flawed": sometimes right, sometimes wrong, and able to learn from each other.

The same coverage describes Lucia as someone chasing a better life who won't let obstacles stop her, and Jason as someone whose circumstances often decide things for him. That fits the official profiles: read more about Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.

Why it matters#

It's another sign that Rockstar is marketing GTA VI beyond gaming outlets. It follows the Dazed cover story in September and the Goodtime State collector's box. For a full overview of the cast, see our characters guide.

GTA VI launches on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
